How Do I Change My Password in WordPress?

Sometimes you will need to change your password when using WordPress. In this tutorial, we will show you how to change your password.

To change your password, navigate to your profile by going to the admin area of WordPress, then on the left-hand side, you will see the dashboard. Move your pointer and hover it over the user area. A menu should appear that has a link to “Your Profile”. Click the link.

At the bottom of the page, you will see an area to enter your password, and just below that, you will confirm the password by reentering it.
Below the password entry area, there is a strength indicator that shows how strong your password is. When you are finished, click “Update Profile”, and you will then have a new password.
