In this tutorial, we will show you how to delete an image using the WordPress framework. Understanding how to remove an image is a fundamental part of using your site.
To remove a picture from a post or page, select the image by clicking on it in the visual editor, and that make a menu appear over the image, then click the “x” in the menu. Performing this action will delete the image from the post or page.
Even though you have removed it from the post or page, the image will still exist in your media library. If you would like to delete the image entirely from your website, hover your mouse over “Media” on the left side of your screen in the dashboard, and then when the sub-menu appears, click on “Library”.
Your website will now be displaying the media library screen. Select the image that you would like to delete by clicking on it, then on the right-hand side of the screen, you should click delete permanently.
