What is the Difference Between Dedicated and Shared SSL Certificates?

What is the Difference Between Dedicated and Shared SSL Certificates?

Shared SSLs are used when other websites or domains are also using the same certificate. Many websites can be on a single, but the SSL must be a wildcard certificate to allow other domains or subdomains unless specified by the certificate.

Share SSLs in many cases share the same IP address. The free SSLs through Cloudflare uses a shared SSL certificate.
Dedicated SSL’s will not show warnings when used with your domain, you can use them anywhere on your website that requires an SSL, and will display your site information when you click on the information icon in your browser.

We offer free SSLs to all of our customers. The SSL is installed on your web hosting account and we will also set it up on your WordPress website free of charge.

We will be glad to assist you in setting up your free SSL and answer any questions that you may have.
