Our Omaha web hosting company has several packages available, and when we started the company, we wanted to make sure whatever package that was chosen had a complete control panel and all the full, robust features of any web hosting company. We developed these packages so that we had something for every budget. Most of our business clients use our Enterprise Web Hosting, but we still have businesses using our Developer Package (best value). Our Great Hosting Package can also power most starter WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal websites. The big difference is the number of visitors you have and how big your website is. Many Non-Profits, for example, have a higher number of visitors. The greater the visitors, the greater the bandwidth. Some of our clients need space for email.
The VPS (Virtual Private Server) web hosting is for very large projects and allows the designers/developers to have a greater latitude by maximum speed and disk space. VPS is for businesses who have a very high number of visitors (can be as much as several thousand per day) and has a lot of pages on their website (it can be in the thousands).
We have some websites that use additional software, and this uses more disk space. This can include WordPress and Joomla plugins and components.

If you are opening up a new business, the Developer Package will probably serve you well, and you can always upgrade at a later time. If you are doing a small website for a home business, blog or a website just for fun, the Great Web Hosting package will probably serve you well.
