Galleries are a great way to display your images and photos in the post or page of your website. To create a gallery, within your page or post, click, add media. On the left-hand side, you will see an option to create a gallery.

All of you previously uploaded images will be available here. Simply select the images you want to include by clicking on the images and then click the “Create a New Gallery” link on the left of the page. You will then be on a page called the Gallery Editor. In the Gallery Editor, you can give your pictures captions and also change the order of their appearance by simply dragging them around on the page. By default, the galleries are set to be an attachment page that allows users to flip through your images.

You can also set the gallery to be a media file that will display the images at full resolution and bypass any of the settings of the theme. If you only want the gallery viewable from the post or page, then you would make the gallery settings “none”.
