Follow these in order. Most people finish the first three in one sitting.
Check your welcome email
It holds your cPanel login, nameservers, FTP details, webmail address and support contacts. Look in your spam folder if you cannot find it, or ask us to resend it.
Point your domain to us
If you bought the domain elsewhere, sign in there and change the nameservers to the two in your welcome email. They look like ns1.websnoogie.com and ns2.websnoogie.com.
Wait for the change to spread
A nameserver change can take up to 24 hours to reach everyone. Your site may look different from place to place until then.
Set up your website
Choose one of the three options below to put your site online.
Set up your email
In cPanel, open Email Accounts and create an address like yourname@yourdomain.com.
Three ways to set up your website
You can have us build it. Our web design service costs $300 for up to 5 pages plus a contact page, and we finish in 3 to 5 days.
You can build it yourself. Your hosting plan supports WordPress, Joomla and Drupal. In cPanel, open Softaculous and install one with a few clicks.
You can upload a site you already have. Use FTP or File Manager in cPanel and put the files in the public_html folder.
SSL and email
We provide free SSL certificates for every hosted website. It turns on by itself, so you do not buy or install anything. Browsers then show the padlock, and your site loads over HTTPS.
For email, you can read mail through webmail in cPanel. You can also use Outlook, Thunderbird or your phone with IMAP or POP settings. A custom address makes your business look more trusted.
Test your site before you promote it
Open your site on a phone, a tablet and two browsers. Check that it loads fast, that every link works and that your contact form sends a message.
A common mistake is to skip the contact form test. Send yourself a message and make sure it arrives.
If you use WordPress, add an SEO plugin and a security plugin. Our web hosting also includes daily backups and security monitoring.
Get found and get help
A good website still needs visitors. Share it on social media and email your contacts. Our SEO plan costs $190 a month and helps people find you in Google.
