Shared SSL’s can be used for admin areas and places where you need extra security, but it is not generally visible to the public. If you try to use your shared SSL with your domain, your website may have errors, and the shared SSL will produce warnings.

Dedicated SSL’s will not show warnings when used with your domain, you can use them anywhere on your website that requires an SSL, and will display your site information when you click on the information icon in your browser. We will be glad to assist you with setting up your free SSL and answer any questions that you may have.
